Membership

Membership in the Mariana Islands Water Operator Association is open to anyone, not just certified water and waste water operators. Any one with an interest in operating and managing public water systems (treatment or distribution) and waste water collection and treatment systems, including operators, managers and regulators of these systems may want to consider becoming a member.

Annual Membership Fee for 2025

The annual membership fee for 2025 is only $10. What a bargain! Check out the benefits section below to see what $10 gets you.

Membership Registration Form

If you would like to become a member, and have not been able to attend one of the training sessions to sign up for membership, then download a copy of the Membership Registration Form, fill it out, and mail it to the Association (address is on the registration form) along with a check for $10, or give the completed registration form to one of the Board members.

The Membership Registration form can be downloaded by clicking here: Membership Registration Form

Or, fill out the on-line form below and we will send you an on-line invoice via PayPal.  The PayPal link on the Home page is not quite working yet, but we can receive PayPal payments either from an invoice we send, or you can pay directly to [email protected].

Can't remember whether you paid your membership fee or not? Check this list of paid members by clicking on the link at the right Membership > 2022 Members.

    Membership Registration On-Line Form

If you are already a certified operator - please select the certifications you hold from this list below:
Submit
Once you submit this form - we will send you an invoice for $10 via PayPal.  This is not automatic, so don't expect an immediate response.  We actually have to check our email, then log-in to PayPal and generate an invoice back to you, so it may take several days depending on how often we check email, which is typically only once a week (remember this is a non-profit run by volunteers).

About the Association

The Association is a non-profit corporation. All of the operating expenses for the Association including the CNMI business license annual fee, website maintenance expenses, and training venue expenses are generated from membership dues and training fees. We try to keep our expenses to an absolute minimum, so that membership dues and training fees can be kept at the lowest possible amount. Any excess funds generated are used to purchase training materials for our lending library.

You do not have to be a member to attend Association sponsored training classes.

As of December 31, 2019 the Mariana Islands Water Operator Association had 103 members.

Membership Benefits

Certified operators that attend trainings sponsored by the Association can earn continuing education credits that apply towards their certification renewal requirements. Membership benefits include:

  • A personalized profile page on this website to keep track of all of your continuing education hours
  • Discounts on admission to Association sponsored training classes
  • Access to the Association lending library (click on link to see list of available titles)
  • Discounts on the purchase of water/wastewater operator training and reference materials
  • Notices from the Association announcing training and other breaking news such as changes in the water or wastewater regulations
Also, Association members are eligible to be on the Board of Directors for the Association!
