Recommended Tap Sampling Procedures for Lead and Copper

Below you will find the recommended tap sampling procedures for the purposes of the Lead and Copper Rule.  These are the instructions given to volunteer homeowners or others that are collecting samples in compliance with the Lead and Copper Rule.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency issued a memo clarifying the recommended tap sampling procedures for the purpose of the Lead and Copper Rule on February 29, 2016.  To see a copy of the memo, click here.
