Joseph Longo

Joe Longo is an Associate Principal and Senior Engineer at Horsley Witten Group, Inc. (HW). Joe has more than 13 years of professional experience focused on civil site design, and hazardous waste site assessment and remediation for public and private development projects. Joe's experience includes the assessment, design, and construction administration for wastewater treatment plants, as well as permitting at the local, state, and federal (NEPA) levels. He has directed small to large scale project teams internal to HW and those involving subconsultants including architects, MEP's, land surveyors, commissioning agents, wetland and rare species scientists, among others; as well as coordinating and directing projects through public and private bidding, bid evaluation, contractor selection, and construction administration. Joe has served as an instructor for several EPA water security-related trainings, such as Incident Command System (ICS) and National Incident Management System (NIMS), and emergency response planning trainings for water and wastewater operators nationwide.
