U.S. EPA Region 9 - Drinking Water Program
Karl Banks has worked for EPA Region 9 since 1997 in the tribal drinking water implementation program. He is the Architect of the tribal drinking water data management system. He has been the Region 9 Tribal water utility emergency response preparedness coordinator since 2002 and a member of the Region 9 Water Emergency Team since 2005. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in California.
